The next-gen version of NBA 2K21 becomes the second game that will occupy the most space in the new generation, only behind the Black Ops Cold War. At least from the third party games that don’t pay too much attention to optimizing and compressing their files.
One of the first examples of this is NBA 2K21, which will occupy 121.7 GB on Xbox Series X. On the other hand, it will be smaller in size on Xbox Series S, which would be 101 GB. It is much more than the 89 GB in which the original game.
NBA 2K21 becomes the second most occupied game of the new Microsoft console, only behind Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (with the record, 136 GB). It is well above the Halo 5 (99 GB), or the Forza Horizon 4 (96.7 GB). In case we install NBA 2K21 together with Call of Duty on our Xbox Series S, we will have eaten 237 GB of the 364 GB available.
In the last next-gen gameplay of NBA 2K21, we could see the loading time is shorter, and that will change the experience completely. Besides, last week the new Park/mode was introduced, which will no longer even be called Neighborhood, but The City.
Why? Because of its size and because it is “the most ambitious virtual basketball community that 2K Games has ever carried out.” I guess when it is released from the hand of Xbox Series X and PS5, we’ll see whether 2K Games keeps their promises.
NBA 2K21 is the new installment in the sports and basketball saga by 2K Games for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Switch, and Stadia. You can always buy NBA 2K21 MT Coins on the MTStacks store!
